This submission responds to the European Commission’s consultation on guidance for implementation of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), August 2026.
It is grounded in years of hands-on, on-the-ground experience working with companies across sectors and geographies on human rights due diligence since the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) were endorsed in 2011. It focuses on practical approaches to effective, risk-based due diligence that deliver meaningful outcomes for affected stakeholders.
