Two quick updates - both of which we’re really excited about over here. 😊
📄 First, we’ve been given more time for our “exam”!
The European Commission has extended the deadline for submissions on the CSDDD Guidelines consultation by three weeks, so it’s now open until 14 August 2026.
It has felt a bit like sitting an exam, hasn’t it! Not just what do I think about each question, but what information does the European Commission most need to hear to help shape practical and meaningful guidance for companies? The extra time is very welcome!
🌍 Second, we’re hiring!
We’re looking for a Just Transition Advisor & Programme Manager to join Human Level and play a central role in one of the fastest-growing areas of our work.
The role combines programme leadership, stakeholder engagement and substantive advisory work, helping leading companies, investors and philanthropic organisations advance a just transition that delivers better outcomes for workers, communities and society. 🤝
If someone comes to mind who would be a great fit, we’d be so grateful if you could share the role with them. We’re really looking forward to welcoming this new person to the team!
