We are packing our chargers and converters, and off we go to Geneva this weekend for the UNAF! We’re so looking forward to seeing many of you there. On the Human Level side, it will be myself, Malin and Ana. And Jodie will be joining us on Wednesday to run some sessions for a Geneva-based company in the second half of the week. If you see us around, do come up and say hi and share with us what you’ve been working on this year. We also would love to hear your views and feedback on the weekly update format. We’re playing around with different options to amplify our impact and would love to hear what would be the most helpful to you in your work.

I am truly honoured to be opening the first session of the day on Monday with a fantastic panel on new frontiers in access to remedies. Come join us in Room XX of the UN Palais des Nations at 10 am. You are in for a treat – with panellists sharing their experiences and insights across Latin America, Africa and Asia on how rights holders are being placed at the centre of effective remedy. You will hear about remedy for Burmese migrant workers, new models of operational-level grievance mechanisms, the power of civil society in enabling remedy – and much much more. With huge thanks to Robert McCorduodale, Isabel Anayanssi Orizaga Inzunza and the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights. If you are still waiting in security, or not with us this year, you can watch it here
