The final text of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) has just been published yesterday…
Three days ago, EU Member States gave final formal approval to the ‘Omnibus I’ legislative package.
Yesterday, the amended text was published in the EU Official Journal.
This means:
✅ The EU CSDDD is now EU law
⏳ The text will enter into force in 19 days
📅 Member States have until 26 July 2028 to transpose the Directive - i.e. turn it into national law

All of us worked, in different ways, to make it happen. 🙌
And this law is part of a wider trend toward greater scrutiny and accountability of companies on human rights and environmental due diligence.
