These are words from Johan Rockström as he, alongside Joyeeta Gupta, present the latest science findings due out soon in the Earth Commission report. You will be fascinated I’m sure by the quest to identify both safe, and just boundaries, with justice meaning minimising significant harm to people and meeting basic needs. You can watch the video here. They find that the just boundary for people is often lower than the safe boundary for the planet.
