Yesterday, 16th June 2022, was the anniversary of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
On this date, eleven years ago, Government representatives gathered in Geneva at a UN Human Rights Council meeting to endorse the UNGPs. There is so much we could say, but all we will say is how pleased we are that John Ruggie was with us to witness and celebrate the tenth anniversary, and how much we miss him today on this eleventh anniversary.
