We have had a fantastic day full of joy, one of our core values, today. This morning: Learning that when we fall we can always get up, especially when we have team members around us - at the London ice rink. This afternoon: Finalised our Human Level 2023 Strategy. In other news, European Council and the European Parliament have agreed to mandatory due diligence rules for all operators and traders who place, make available or export the following commodities from the EU market: palm oil, beef, timber, coffee, cocoa, rubber and soy. The rules also apply to a number of derived products such as chocolate, furniture, printed paper and selected palm oil based derivates (used for example as components in personal care products). The human rights implications of deforestation, in particular for indigenous peoples, is addressed in the text. The final step now is formal approval by both the European Council and the European Parliament.
